I'm going to take a day or two off to regroup after one of my galleries on my other blog was flagged by Google as violating their "Community Guidelines" and my account at DeviantArt was terminated! I was also putting pressure on myself to maintain a specific posting schedule. All of this had really messed with me and I need to take a break. I'll probably will start reposting on Monday the 29th, but I could be overreacting and may resume sooner..we'll see. This was supposed to be fun BTW. Thank you for viewing my content, see you soon.
Galleries of original digital artwork. Unless otherwise noted the figures depicted are not recorded images of human beings. The use of the word "video" in the descriptions is a euphemism; they are ITV, image-to-video renderings. I encourage you to leave a comment about the content that I post on the Blog. Your feedback can be any critique or question, except for sexually explicit comments about the subjects of the images. Thank you for your participation. warrensmithe24@gmail.com
Easy does it Warren.
ReplyDeleteIt's good that you take care of yourself.
It's just a hobby, but I understand your frustration towards Google and DA.
There is nothing wrong with your AI photo's and I hope you keep posting them here.
I enjoy them.
Take care,
Alex
Hey Alex. Thank you for being so kind and understanding. I might be a little dramatic, it is a hobby, but like most hobbyist, I want to present my best effort so that you and all of my other followers will enjoy my work and come back. Thank you Alex, for being loyal from the beginning. I think the one year anniversary is approaching!
DeleteI was mistaken about the blog's one year anniversary, it's December 4th.
DeleteWhilst it might have been a good idea at the time, establishing a publication schedule for yourself moved your activity from 'hobby for pleasure' to 'obligation' with a consequent negative effect on your creative flow. My suggestion is to scrap the obligation and publish when you are satisfied you have created something YOU want to create rather than something you HAVE to create for others. We don't mind re-checking repeatedly to see if you have published new stuff yet - and let those who get bored quickly depart. Let it be what it is - YOUR hobby. ZD.
ReplyDeleteHey ZD. I must confess that I had a motivation that fed the obsession to publish on a schedule; the view counter! Like many others, I wanted to best yesterday's views and last month's views; I will put that aside going forward.
DeleteYour comment, like the comment by Alex, is truly kind, understanding and generous. I'm grateful. Thank you.
The content dictates the view counter, the view counter shouldn't dictate the content. If your postings are worth looking at, the view counter will move all by itself, magically lol. ZD.
DeleteHey ZD. I was trying to manipulate the data; that is now a thing of the past.
